Members are encouraged to swim anywhere within Aquatic Park (“The Cove”) and between The Gashouse to the west of the Opening and the Creakers to the east of the Opening.
Club Swims are always on the weekends and usually have a nominal fee to cover the post-swim breakfast/lunch and any third party boat rentals.
Many marathon swimmers belong to the South End Rowing Club and use the Bay as the perfect training ground for cold water marathon swims. We have people join the club from all over the world to train in cold water to successfully complete marathon swims such as the English Channel, North Channel, Tsugaru Strait, and Cook Strait.

Sunriser swims are out-of-cove swims that can vary in length and distance. All sunriser swims are with the current and finish at the club.
